Parakaleo works primarily in rural areas where literacy rates can be extremely low. Because of this, we partner with our church plants to promote education and work with small Christian schools. We believe in the power of investing in children, and we are excited to work in their lives in hopes of advancing the gospel.

In addition to Haitian children, we also support young men and women through a vocational school where they can receive specialized training for jobs that will allow them to support themselves and their families. The first graduating class of this school is pictured below.

Finally, Parakaleo supports pastors and future pastors by helping them pay for Bible college. This allows them to receive more knowledge, training, and understanding of the Bible and of the Christian faith. We believe this to be a vital part of our ministry because it helps them better bring the good news to their people and churches.
