Recently, the UN predicted that over 115,000 children in Haiti are expected to suffer severe wasting from malnutrition this year alone.  Through our own efforts, we have seen many children suffer the results of food scarcity and malnutrition.  Many children in Haiti die every year as a direct result of starvation and the effects of malnutrition.
